Our Edwardian home is centrally heated throughout. Belmont on Harewood still has native Rimu timber features, tiled fire places, leadlight windows, 3-metre high ceilings, ornate plaster archway, ceiling roses and cornices along with all necessary modern conveniences.
We are a wheelchair friendly home. Our rooms are warm and spacious. Some rooms enjoy the morning sun and over-look the gardens. The Lavender and Gold rooms are served by either a lovely marble tiled guest bathroom with modern facilities and a heated tile floor or alternatively a fully compliant disabled bathroom. The Red and Platinum rooms have en-suites,enjoy the morning sun and face out onto a magnificant avenue of oak trees.

All Bookings;
In the event of cancellation of your bookings within the following time frames of your scheduled arrival time, the cancellation may result in maximum of one night's tariff being charged against your credit card after the expiry time of your booking. Belmont on Harewood will attempt to resell your cancelled room for the date that you have reserved. This action will be conveyed to you by email.
Cancellations made;
- More than 4 weeks from reservation date, 10% of the total booking fee charged if the room cannot be onsold for your reservation date.
- less than 4 weeks but more than 3 weeks, 30% of of the total booking fee charged if room cannot be on sold for your reservation date.
- less than 3 weeks but more than 2 weeks, 50% of the total booking fee charged charged if room cannot be onsold for your reservation date.
- less than 2 weeks but more than 1 week, 75% of the total booking fee charged if room cannot be onsold for your reservation date.
- Less than 1 week, a full booking fee charged if the room cannot be onsold for your reservation date.
All cancellations from you need to be either in writing or by email to Belmont on Harewood.
Our booking policy is simple.
We require your credit card number and your card account details including type of card, account holder name, and security number to confirm your booking. We do not require a deposit against your card to secure the booking.The data is encrypted in a secure bank facility when you reserve the room and supply your details and will only be accessed by Belmont on Harewood at the time of settling your account or in the situation where a penalty charge is being applied as per our cancellation policy. Completion of the booking by you is acceptance of these terms.
