We have a Fire Service and Medical background, enjoy meeting people and love travelling. Caring for and relating to fellow travellers is our passion.

We have travelled in the UK, Europe, USA, the Pacific and Asia and Jan has even been to Antarctica. We have had extensive medical secretarial and Fire Service careers, along with some other diverse employment and Business development projects.

We enjoy property investment and luckily are earthquake survivors. We are interested in renovation and the preservation of our heritage home. We have both been members of Toastmasters International and Alan is a Board member of Bed and Breakfast Association, New Zealand.

Belmont has a house cat called Possum and we are pet sitting our travelling children's dog and cat as temporary guests.
